Frank Tan is a senior C-Suite strategy and corporate development executive who has announced more than $65 billion of M&A transactions over three decades across technology, life sciences, diagnostics, medical devices, industrial, and energy sectors and has served on executive leadership teams at industry leaders in healthcare, technology, and diversified industrials since 2017.

  • Currently leading Corporate Development advisory services for Hayward Brook Partners, LLC focused on internal preparation for and management of acquisitions, divestitures, partnerships, licensing, and strategic planning.

  • Previously, as Senior Vice President of Strategy & Corporate Development, drove strategy development and deal sourcing across W.L. Gore & Associates’ broad materials sciences portfolio representing $5 billion in revenue in medical technology, fabric laminates, cables, filtration, sealants, membranes, venting, protective gear, and fibers comprised of GORE-TEX® and related technologies for industries worldwide.

  • While Senior Vice President of Strategic Development at MKS Instruments, notable transactions included the $6 billion cross-border acquisition of Atotech (sourced and led), an unsolicited $6 billion bid for Coherent in a highly contested, three-way process (architect of hostile approach and the strategic timing of offer withdrawal enabling the successful acquisition of Atotech), and the $320 million cross-border purchase of Photon Control.

  • As Vice President of Corporate Development at global life sciences leader Thermo Fisher Scientific, transformational deals included the $7 billion acquisition of Patheon N.V., $4 billion acquisition of FEI Company, $16 billion acquisition of Life Technologies, $1 billion divestiture of cell culture, gene modulation, and magnetic beads businesses to GE, and $925 million acquisition of One Lambda, increasing TMO’s revenues by 2x and expanding market cap by 4x in seven years. Previous leadership experience also comprised the $7 billion cross-border sale and integration of Millipore into Merck KGaA.

Frank holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy from the Yale School of Management and a BA in Classics from Amherst College. Favorite activities include cooking, gardening, photography, fine woodworking, and long walks with his Labrador Retriever, Fenway along the eponymous Hayward Brook.

In addition to being charmingly handsome and playful, Fenway enjoys long walks and longer runs as well as swimming in lakes and streams, and frequent, copious, and plentiful belly rubs.

Greg is a senior operations and program management leader with 15+ years of experience driving disciplined execution, operational excellence, and scalable delivery across global enterprises and growth-stage companies. He brings deep expertise spanning business operations, professional services, customer success, workforce strategy, and cross-functional program leadership.

  • Over his career, Greg has progressed from technical implementation consultant and project manager to professional services manager and global operations leader. He has led complex client engagements, negotiated multi-million-dollar statements of work, delivered those projects successfully, built and scaled consulting teams, and directed worldwide business operations initiatives supporting organizations with a $115 million P&L.

  • A strategic, collaborative, and data-driven leader, Greg leverages technology and analytics to modernize processes, scale programs, and provide leadership with actionable insights. He has developed PMO assets and best-practice methodologies, including SOPs, dashboards, and key metrics, that provide consistency, visibility, and repeatable results across programs and projects.

  • At Hayward Brook Partners, Greg provides fractional and project-based business operations and project/program management support for strategic initiatives — helping clients establish governance, strengthen execution, and scale with confidence.

Greg holds a BA in Computer Science and Political Science from Amherst College. Outside of work, he enjoys martial arts, photography, reading, home DIY, contributing to his local community, and spending time with his family.
